What is a Rigid Body?

• On applying force on this body, its shape remains unchanged.

• A force cannot change the interspacing between its constituent particles.

• Force cannot change the dimensions of the body it can produce onle motion in it.

What is a non rigid Body?

What is contact force?

• Force being applied on two bodies which are physically touched

• examples :-

• frictional force , normal reaction foce, Tensional force, force exerted by spring, force exerted during collision
