przeczytaj i posłuchaj (NAGRANIE 1 znajdziesz we wiadomości na Librusie) o Królu Janie i przymusowo podpisanej przez niego Wielkiej Karcie Swobód (Magna Carta).  Król Jan słynął z okrucieństwa wobec swoich poddanych i nakładania na nich bardzo wysokich podatków. Według legendy Robin Hood rabował bogaczy (w tym króla) i oddawał odzyskane podatki biednym.
