Rules are things that we follow at school, shops, the library, and much more! Rules are things we do to be kind, safe, and responsible. If we don't follow them, we can be yelled at, or just get a warning.

Laws are rules made by a country or community. They keep us safe and doing good things. If somebody didn't follow the law, they would have to pay a fine or go to jail.
