Conditional Tense-

*Is a verb conjugation tense used when some action is based upon some condition or somehow contingent on something else

*Translation of Conditional Tense is- WOULD

Conditional Tense ENDINGS-

yo- ía nosotros- íamos

tú- ías

singular- ía plural-ían

*NOTE- all of the í's have accent marks!!!!!! And yes you have seen these endings before! They are the endings from the er/ir Imperfect BUT we will do something different with these on the next slide!

Examples of how to CONJUGATE the CONDITIONAL TENSE- REGULAR VERBS-

Hablar- to speak/talk- would speak/would talk

yo-hablaría nosotors-hablaríamos

tú-hablarías

singular-hablaría plural- hablarían

* notice two things- the whole + endings and the accents marks.

comer- to eat/would eat

vivir- to live/would live
