Adjectives

• Adjectives have to agree in CASE and NUMBER. Bonum and servum are both accusative (case) and singular (number).

• However...the endings are not identical.

• Why?

Declensions

• Words never switch declensions.

• We know nouns in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd declension

• We know adjectives in the 1st/2nd and the 3rd declension.

• You can mix and match declensions, as long as your adjectives match in CASE and NUMBER.
