What is a verb?

A verb is an action someone does.

Examples

Sally ran to the ice cream truck. The verb is "ran" because it's something you do. Lets do another example. Lana jumped, ran, and walked to the park. This example has more than one verb. It has three! Do you know what the verbs are in the sentence? The verbs are jumped, ran, and walked! Did you get all of them correct?
