Guidelines and Mechanics
1. The competition will be held online via Google Meet and Quizziz, therefore participants should make sure that the supporting equipment and devices are available (Laptop/PC/Ipad/Phone with a functioning camera and speaker, microphone, and internet connection).
2. During the competition, the teachers will mute the microphone of all the participants.
3. If the participants are caught cheating, the teachers are entitled to decide to disqualify participants from the competition.

4. All participants should respect and appreciate every judgment from the teachers.
5. When the participants make mistakes when answering, the teachers do not allow any pauses of duration nor provide any restart for the participants.
6. Every participant should be present punctually, at least five (5) minutes before the competition starts. We do not compromise tardiness. If the participant is late to be present, then the teachers will decide to disqualify the participants from the competition.
7. All other devices are switched off during the competition.

8. Before the competition begins, participants have to make sure that they are clear from any cheat sheet by showing their hands up to the camera.
9. Participants are not allowed to: a. Open any kind of dictionary, electronic included, when the competition is being held; b. Receive any help from anyone including spectators and/or supporters; and c. Any violation of the requirements above will result in disqualification.
10. During the competition, each participant must open up their front camera, use earphones or headsets, and mute their microphone.

1. Each round (Easy, Average, Difficult) consists five (5) words to spell.
A. In each word, the teacher will read the definition and sample sentence twice.
B. The participant will choose the correct spelling of the word for 10 seconds in each round.

2. The scores in the Quizziz Leaderboard will be the basis.
3. Clincher round is provided if ever there is a tie that needs to break.
