Hi Everyone,

This my Technology project about Quizizz and how we can use it or implement it in our TESOL class.

The option Create provides you three options: Create a lesson, Create your class, and Create a quiz. You can import your class if you use Google Classroom or Canvas. You can create your class to have access to specific teaching material. You can créate virtual and interactive lesson plan presentations to help your students learn. They can have access to it. Creating your quiz is a very simple tool to use when creating any assessment assignment. 

This is the student´s point of view. As you can see, the platform is available in multiple languages for the students. The first is about Verbs. Some teachers share their work with others to support each other in the teaching field. Students may access with a code for their assignments. The code brings the students to the assessment in which they need to write their name and once the student or students are ready they can begin their classwork or homework.

You can use the search box to find quizzes or lessons created by other teachers. All the activities provide the answers for each students and it helps the teacher grade at every moment. You can also créate your own teaching material and personalize it for your students. One of the settings allows you to share with other teachers or to keep your work private just for you and your students. Quizizz allows you give the students multiplice choices questions, fill in the blank, write the answer,etc.

Here are some of the activities I have created for my students. As I mentioned before, this platform allows you grade your students and provide the answers while the students are working on your assignments. Since I teach Grammar and Math at the school I work at, this tool has helped assess my students with simple, creative and interactive online activities.

Here is an example of an activity I created a few days ago. I included the instruction for the students and having the option of including the right answers make my job easier every time we work virtually with the students.

Here is an example of the report Quizizz provides for the students, teacher and parents. You can download in your device and you have the option to email test results for your students.You see you have an option of flashcards to help your students study if they didnt do it so well in the assessment. Emailing the results to the parents its a great tool you can use to involve each students´ parent in their children´s learning process.

This is a quick example of how to create a class presentation. You can add text, images, youtube videos, links,etc. It will help your students keep their attention on the screen. The next presentation contains options on how to make your presentations more interavctive for you students and during your classes.

Quizizz provides the same option for creating lesson presentations. Students can interact when the teacher is sharing the screen on Zoom or Google Meetings.Y ou can ask your students to participate during your lessons and always take the time to review the material.
