General structure of introduction and concluding paragraph
Introduction: description of the graph (sentence 1) in PRESENT TENSE + general overview (sentence 2)
Conclusion: detailed overview (1 sentence)

Example:
General overview: There seems to be an increase in the number of students’ enrolment in both private and public colleges.
Detailed overview: Although both categories experienced a steady increase over the years, it is quite clear that the increase in the number of students enrolled in the public college was more significant than those of the private college.

Examples:
General overview: Overall, it can be seen that car is the most preferred mode of transportation among young people in all four different countries.
Detailed overview: To conclude, car is the most popular transport among youth, especially in France.

Compare and contrast
Teachers reported a dramatic fall in the occurrence of academic dishonesty. However, in 2006 the percentage increased as much as 1.6% resulting to 29.1% cheating offences committed by female students.
The rate of cheating in male students in 2005 was at its lowest (20.5%). Likewise, the rate in female students was also at its lowest which was at 26.5%.
