HOURS/MINUTES

REMEMBER: THERE ARE 60 MINUTES IN AN HOUR, NOT 100

For example, if we want to show 0.5 hours as minutes, we have to
multiply 0.5 x 60 = 30 minutes
For example, if we want to show 45 minutes as hours, we have
to divide 45 ÷ 60 = 0.75 hours

See if you can work out the following …

1.35 hours as minutes

1.7 hours as minutes

66 minutes as hours

1.35 x 60 = 81 mins or 1 hour 21 mins
1.7 x 60 = 102 mins or 1 hour 42 mins
66 ÷ 60 = 1.1 hours
