In this lesson we are gonna learn what is editing.

Editing

Editing is to make corrections in a sentence, paragraph etc. Like for example in the next slide, there is a paragraph that has ten mistakes in it. Can you find the mistakes?

The ten mistakes are-

• First line- Incorrect- The moon was a barren

• First line- Correct- The moon is a barren

• Second line- Incorrect- It has plain lava in its surface.

• Second line- Correct- It has plain lava on its surface.

• Third line- Incorrect- The moon is filled with crater.

• Third line- Correct- The moon is filled with craters.

• Forth line- Incorrect- It gets it light from a Sun.

• Forth line- Correct- It gets it light from the Sun.

• Fifth line- Incorrect- The Moon keeps changing its shape as it moves rounded the Earth.

• Fifth line- Correct- The Moon keeps changing its shape as it moves around the Earth.

• Sixth line- Incorrect- Edwin or Aldrin was the first ones to set their foot on the Moon.

• Sixth line- Correct- Edwin Aldrin was the first one to set his foot on the Moon.

• Seventh line- Incorrect- They reach the Moon in their space craft name Apollo II.

• Seventh line- Correct- They reached the Moon in their space craft named Apollo ll.
