Invertebrates

Invertebrates are animals without backbones.

There are many different groups of invertebrates.

Only a few of them are described here.

Molluscs

* Molluscs are animals with a soft body.

* They have a muscular foot which they use to move around.

* Some molluscs have shells.

* Slugs, snails and octopuses are molluscs
