to check the answer of subtraction we use the formula :

Minuend = Difference + Subtrahend or

Subtrahend = Minuend - difference

Example : 23568-12580= 10988

Check Answer:

Minuend = Difference + subtrahend

23568= 10988 + 12580

23568=23568
