Square Roots

  • Taking the square root means finding what number multiplied by itself to get the number under the radical (square root symbol).

  • This is a radical:      \sqrt{\ \ \ \ }  

  •  25=5\sqrt{25}=5  because  52=255^2=25 

  •  100= ?\sqrt{100}=\ ?
