Medusa was a beautiful and kind girl that lived in Athens Greece. But everyday she grew more obsessed with herself. One day she went to visit the temple of Athena. She saw a statue of Athena and said that Athena was ugly and she (Medusa) thought that she would be a better replacement for Athena. Athena heard this and she said "Do you really think you could replace me? I am a god and you are a mortal. What makes you think you are better than everyone else?" Then Athena called Poseidon and they cursed Medusa to turn into a monster. Now she was the same as all of her other siblings. A monster.

After

After Medusa was cursed she went home to Steno and Euryale which were happy and excited that Medusa was now a Gorgon Sister. A gorgon sister is a winged human females with snakes in replace of hair. A couple months later, Perseus had the quest to slay Medusa. After Perseus killed Medusa, Medusa's body gave birth to Pegasus.
