Simple Present - expresses something we see as permanent or unchanging - facts, habits, routines
Example --> He eats a lot of junk food. / I call my mom everyday.
Present Continuous (Progressive) expresses:
1. something happening at the time of speaking
2. A temporary or currently changing situation
3. Something happening around the time of speaking
Present Perfect expresses:
1. when a past even has an impact on, or relevance in, the present
2. when something started in the past and continues to the present

Present Continuous: "to be + verb-ing"
--> I am going to the mall right now. / They are waiting for the bus.
Present Perfect: have/has + past participle
--> She has seen that movie before. / I have lived here for five years.
