People study English around the world
Study is the verb. It is in the simple present. Find the Direct object (it answers the question: what?) In this case: what do people study? The answer is English.
Take the Direct object to the front of the sentence.
Now, use the verb BE in the tense of the sentence. in this case, it is IS , (because English is singular).
Now, write the main verb in the past participle (studied).
So far, our sentence goes: English is studied
