What is an angle?
An angle is a simple way to combine to ray's to make an angle! It's simple-just join two ray's to create a vertex, which makes an angle! But what is a vertex, and what is a ray?
3
Lines
First you need to know what a line is. A line is made when you draw a line, then you have to draw arrows and the sides, creating a line! An arrow means that it forever goes to that direction, and never stops.
4
Ray
A ray is very similar to a line, except there is only one arrow-and you can put it on either side! On the other side, where there is no arrow, there is a point! Hint: Think of a ray of a sun! It somewhere (the sun in this case) and keeps on going in one direction!
5
Point
A point is simple-put it at the vertex of an angle! Hint: To remember a point, all you have to do is remember a period! A point is an EXACT location at a space!
6
Poll
What is the easiest way to remember how to write a point?
Go to space
A period
Remember your ELA teacher
A vertex
7
Poll
What is the easiest way to remember how to write a ray?
A period
A vertex
An arrow
A ray of sunlight which starts and goes in one direction

How to find a measure of an angle
How exactly can you measure an angle? The best way is a protractor. A protractor is a tool which can measure angles, but you will have to line up the protractor with the angle! Let me show you how....
9
How to measure an angle (Part 2!!!)
You can see a line at the bottom of the protractor... that's where you put the vertex of the angle on! Then, make sure you have lined the bottom ray to the line going right OR left, and measure the angle! This angle's measure is 115! But you may be thinking...why isn't it 65?
10
Why is it the other number?
Well, you need to know right, obtuse, and acute angles. Right angles may be the easiest to remember... it has to be EXACTLY 90 degrees! (Degrees is the symbol for out of 360, a full circle.) You can think of an L instead...
11
Obtuse
Obtuse is basically MORE THAN 90 DEGREES!!!
12
Acute
All you have to remember is LESS THAN 90 DEGREES!!!
13
So, why is it the other number?
Now that you know, acute, right, and obtuse, you are ready to learn why is it the other number! So, it says 115 degrees AND 65 degrees. Well, the angle was obtuse (more than 90), so 115 degrees makes sense!
14
How to find the measure of an angle in another way
Look, you may be confused by the title, but let me explain. A 180 degree angle is a straight line, a 360 a circle! Clues are straight lines, circles, and right angles. Look at this example! You will have to do 180 (straight angle) minus 140! So the missing angle is 40 degrees!

Well, that's it! BYE!!!
