什么是 simple present tense？

Simple present tense IS

• talk about habitual action 谈及惯性动作

• use adverbs frequencely such as "every day", "always", "usually", "often", "sometimes" 副词

• Current situations 谈及现在的情况

• Universal truths 谈及普遍真理

Example of Simple Present Tense 惯性动作

• Alice walks to school every day.

• My mother cooks pancakes every Saturday.

Example of Simple Present Tense 副词

• Alice usually walks to school every day.

• My mother always cook pancakes every Saturday.

Example of Simple Present Tense 现在情形

• Faiz is tired.

• The food is cold.

Example of Simple Present Tense 普遍真理

• The Earth is round.

• Malaysia is a tropical country.

使用 Simple Present Tense 时，动词会随着主语（subject）改变

Example：

1) Hannah eats cereal every morning.

2) My friends and I play football every weekend.

有时 singular verb（单数动词）后面会加上 "es" / "ies"

Examples :

1) He watches television every morning.

2) My little brother cries whenever he is hungry.
