Employment - is a state of being employed.

Unemployment

a person who is actively seeking a job is unable to find work.

Unemployment - the state of being without a work but seeking work.

Under-employment

employment that does not use skills and abilities to the full or that does not keep fully occupied.

Under-employment - when a person takes a job that does not reflect their actual training and financial needs. 

Unemployable

a person who is not suitable for employment.
