To put (something) back
When something is put back ( or when we put something back), its original date has been postponed to a future date.
EX: Half of the employees couldn't make it, so we should put the meeting back. Perhaps on August 5th?

To call (something) off
It means to cancel.
EX: I couldn't make it to the meeting today, therefore it has been put back. At least it wasn't called off.

To raise something with someone
To bring up a subject/issue/matter with someone.
EX: Maurice forgot to raise the budget issues with the supervisor.

It means to thoroughly think about the pros and cons of a situation in order to make the best decision.
