Topic: Animal Testing
Animal testing is the process that helps us discover and create many great products for us humans. We can find out ways to make vaccines, skin care products, and even medicines, but it is harmful to the environment, harmful to innocent animals, gives inaccurate results, and it is a complete waste of our money and time. In using animals for testing, we are harming many innocent animals who don't deserve to be tested with dangerous chemicals.
Animal testing is also known as animal experimentation. I think that we should not experiment on animals as it is harmful to people and the animals themselves. Also, not all animal experimentations are accurate and this could lead to harmful and wrong results. According to PETA, more than 90% of basic scientific discoveries, most of which are from experiments on animals, fail to lead to human treatments.

Topic: School Uniforms
Claim: Schools should require their students to wear school uniforms.
Wearing a uniform means students don’t have to worry about peer pressure when it comes to their clothes. In America, where a majority of schools do not have a uniform, roughly 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. This might not be directly linked to what they’re wearing, but having a uniform can be a safety net for many students who might otherwise suffer from bullying.
Requiring students to wear uniforms will be good for the students because they do not need to think of what they need to wear. Also, students will not feel intimidated or embarrassed by what they can or can only wear due to their economic status. Let's face it rich kids will wear fancy clothes while poor kids can be bullied because they won't be able to afford fine clothings.

Topic: Bullying
Claim: Preventing people from becoming bullies rather than punishing the Bullies.
The opposing side may say that bullying is often thought of as a natural part of society and when a person is bullied, the offender is to be punished. In my opinion, without interference it becomes a cycle, bad for the victim and the bully who feels powerful and sometimes ashamed after the fact.
Many people argue that bullying is a natural and that the only way to prevent it is to punish the bullies. This argument is only doing something after the fact, when we should be working toward prevention.

Topic: Regulating Social Media
Claim: Social media needs to be regulated
Before I end, I would like to add another reason why we should regulate social media and that is because everyone is using social media nowadays. The bigger the population or audience social media has, the higher the risk of bullying, crimes and other negative effects of leaving social media unregulated. That is why we need to start working to ensure that our online world is safe.
As technology expands itself into the realm of how society receives information it is found that social media outlets have too much influence over public opinion. Several responded that they receive their daily news from platforms on Facebook and social media. Private entities may invest in social media to increase the audience of their ideas while filtering out opposing positions. If you value free and fair information, we must act to regulate digital media to ensure freedom of the press.
