The Wonders of 3D Printing
2
Giant 3D-printer builds a TWO-STORY house in one piece
1:07 ...and while the printing process is full autonomous, humans are still needed to set up, monitor, and assist the Bot 2.
2:22 These innovations in 3D printing have the potential to make construction more sustainable and make housing more affordable.
3
How to 3D print human tissue
0:18 Unfortunately, there are't nearly enough donor organs available to fill that demand.
0:41 but simpler tissue including blood vessels and tubes responsible for nutrient and waste exchange are already in our grasp.

Paragraph 1
Printing used to be just for document and photos. These days, thanks to 3D printers, you can print just about anything (that) you can name. If you can dream it, you can print it.
5
Paragraph 2
If you've never seen a 3D printer in action before, let's take a look at what they actually do. A 3D printer takes any design of a three-dimensional objects and prints it out, bringing it slowly into reality layer by layer. The material (which is) used to print these objects range from different kinds of plastic to various kinds of metal. Once people started letting their imagination run wild, the application of 3D printers seemed to be endless.

Paragraph 3
Day by day, more amazing stories are emerging about 3D printers being used to do something that was previously thought (to be) impossible. At CES 2017, an exhibition of the world's cutting-edge technology, a company called Divergent unveiled a fully functional 3D-printed car and motorcycle. Different parts of the vehicle had to be printed separately and then put together. This might seem counterproductive, but it actually not so different from how vehicles have been manufactured for years.

Paragraph 4
The main difference between the two ways of making vehicles is that by 3D printing, the vehicle is much lighter in weight. The number of materials is also less than that used in the old production process, so the amount of waste is reduced. What's more, there are fewer emission along the process of making a 3D-printed car. Therefore, 3D-printed vehicles have the potential to counteract environmental damage, as well as look unimaginably cool.

Paragraph 5
In addition to helping save the environment, 3D printing with also save lives. For Astronauts aboard the International Space Station, a medical emergency is definitely the worst of situation. In some instances those astronauts have to wait for a long time to be resupplied with medical devices that they urgently need. To solve this problem, a medical 3D printing company called 3D4MD is developing a way to change that. In 2017,they revealed the printer that will allow those aboard ISS to print their own medical supplies, right there on the station itself. So if they require anything from a splint to surgical tools, they won't have to wait
