Function of the cell parts

• Nucleus:

  Controls all the activities in the cell

  Contains genetic information 

   

  Cytoplasm:

  Allows substances such as oxygen or food to move around within the cell

  Controls what goes in and out the cell

   

  Cell wall:

  Gives the cell its shape

   

  Chloroplast:

  Contains chlorophyll which is needed to trap light and make food
