What are Subject Pronouns?

Subject pronouns are pronouns that identify who or what is performing the action of a verb.


What are the infinitive verbs in Spanish?

All Spanish infinitives verbs end in -ar, -ir, and -er.


What pattern are we following?

-AR regular verbs they will follow a pattern for each conjugation. For example, in the present tense you add -o, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, or -an to the remaining stem after removing -ar.

Steps for conjugating of -AR verbs

Present Tense for Regular Verbs.

  • Drop the -ar letters from the infinitive form of the verbs and add the appropriate ending according to the person and tense.

  • For example, in the present tense you add -o, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, or -an to the remaining stem after removing -ar.
