Pick something that is: engaging, familiar and not complex in terms of language
Don't choose something for its cinematic appeal such as thrillers
Example of good films to choose: movies made for children or rom-coms

Subtitles vs dubbing
Use CC or subtitles so you can learn spelling, pronunciation and repetition of frequently used words.
Note: you might want to watch the movie first so you understand the plot and enjoy yourself.
