Sound buying program is based on the principle: Buy goods that will meet the needs and satisfaction of the consumers or buyers.

The right quality - is usually dictated by the price. High-quality products are bought at higher prices than low-quality ones.
Right quantity- depends on how much is needed by the customer at one time at a certain period of time.
Right time- enables the seller or retailer to buy goods when there is a great supply from the manufacturers, producers, and wholesalers.

It is selling using one's knowledge, enthusiasm, and persuasion. It is an art that requires knowledge of the product and the consumer. Good human relations and traits like patience, enthusiasm, and courtesy are equally important.

Good Health
The salesperson must be physically and mentally healthy fit to carry his/her duties.
He/she must come to work cheerfully as always.

Good character
He must be initiative ( working without being told, cheerfulness ( facing customers with a smile), courtesy ( treating each customer with respect) and etc.

Adequate knowledge related to his or her work
The salesperson should be at least a high school graduate to ensure a background of general education in all fields.

Pleasing personality
A pleasing personality that can easily attract people.

Duties of the salesperson:
To sell goods of the best quality possible
To sell gods at the most reasonable price
To be honest, courteous, and straightforward to his or her dealings.
To give the most satisfactory service to the customer.
To follow the "customer is always right" and "First come first serve" policy to customers as they should be treated fairly.
