The initial members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) were sworn in by President Rodrigo Duterte on February 22, 2019 and the ARMM was officially turned over to the BARMM on February 26, 2019. The Bangsamoro transition plan was then adopted by the Bangsamoro Parliament on June 18, 2019.
