Not to forget!

• No matter how many metal or non-metal atom in the  molecule, the amount of atoms is not mentioned in the naming them.

• Example: CaCl2 (there is 1 Calcium and 2 chlorine) $\rightarrow$  calcium chloride ( here the number of chlorine is not mentioned)

• Example: Al2O3(here there are 2 Aluminium atoms and # oxygen atoms in the molecule) $\rightarrow$   aluminium oxide (you must not tell the number of aluminium or oxygen atoms.
