About the solar system
COMPONENTS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM
The solar system compromises of mainly dust, gas and balls of rock and gas that we call planets.
There are even smaller bodies called moons, asteroids, comets, meteorites and meteors.
The Solar system has roughly 600 moons, millions of asteroids and billions of comets.
Meteors and Meteorites are uncountable.

THE PLANETS
There are 8 planets in the solar system. They are :
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
11
In size (smallest to biggest): Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter.
MERCURY: Mercury is famous for being the closest planet to the Sun and being very small. In fact, Mercury is so small that it would take 3.7 mercuries to fill Earth!
VENUS: Venus is known for it's toxic atmosphere, greenhouse gases and being the most hostile and hottest planet in the solar system. The sister of Earth is believed to have had life in the early days of the solar system.
EARTH: Next up is home planet Earth. It is known as the only planet with life (CURRENTLY ). It is also the only planet known which flourishes in poison. ( Oxygen is a toxic gas with horrible high reactive properties.)
MARS: Commonly known as the red planet, Mars is red because of the high Iron content exposer to water over many years. Many scientists and astronomers believe that Mars had life in the past. In 2006, astronomers found a mar meteorite which contained fossilized waste left there by bacteria.
