How do you do is not a question. It's a phrase that is used when meeting someone for the first time. The usual response is to repeat how do you do?

Remember!!

It's common in more informal language to leave out small grammar words in greetings. How are you doing? often changes to how you doing? which is more informal.

You might need to introduce other people sometimes. This could happen at a business meeting at work (formal) or at a party with friends (informal). These phrases start with the most formal introduction and end with the most informal introduction.
