2
ESLR:
Through understanding Quadratic equations, Faithians will acknowledge God as a God of Order and that rules are made out of His love for mankind through His holiness. Faithians will desire to read, study, and obey God’s laws and school rules and regulations.

Bible Verse:
1 Corinthians 14:33
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.
Principle:
Faithians read, study and obey God’s laws and school rules and regulations.
4
Aim
Describe quadratic equations using practical situations and their mathematical representations
Formulate quadratic equations as illustrated in some real-life situations
5
Action
Directions: Below are different equations. Use these equations to answer the questions that follow.

A Real Step to Quadratic Equations
Mrs. Jacinto asked a carpenter to construct a rectangular bulletin board for her classroom. She told the carpenter that the board’s area must be 18 square feet.
11
Application
Draw a diagram to illustrate the bulletin board.
12
Open Ended
What are the possible dimensions of the bulletin board? Give at least 2 pairs of possible dimensions.
13
Open Ended
How did you determine the possible dimensions of the bulletin board?
14
Analysis
Suppose the length of the board is 7 ft. longer than its width. What equation would represent the given situation?
How would you describe the equation formulated?
Do you think you can use the equation formulated to find the length and the width of the bulletin board? Justify your answer.

God is a God of Order
Order implies a neat and logical organization of items, tasks, or people. When a room is in order, it has been tidied and everything is in its proper place. God’s universe is orderly. He created everything in an orderly sequence in a six-day span that set the world as we know it into motion (Genesis 1:31; Exodus 20:11; 31:17). He created the sun, moon, and stars to regulate time and seasons (Genesis 1:14–18; Psalm 104:19), and the heavenly bodies operate with precise predictability.

God is a God of Order
In the Old Testament, He had prophets to speak about the coming Messiah thousands of years before He appeared. God could have called sent His Son into the world way back during creation, but that would not have fit into God's orderly plan.
When the fullness of time had come, God sent His only begotten Son into the world to be consistent with God's plan. Then Jesus Himself followed the principle of doing things in the proper order. We know that because He came to earth when it was His time to come. He died on the cross when it was His time to die. And by faith, we believe that He will return at the right time. We don't know when, but we do know that whenever it is, it will be when God says, "It's time!" How do we know that? Because God is a God of order.

Assignment
Read and study the Bible. Find other examples that show God's orderliness and write it on your notebook.
