• the difference between States and Union Territories

• names of few states and their capitals

• location of the states on the map of India

Union Territories are administered by the President through an Administrator appointed by him/her.

STATES OF INDIA

Rajasthan

Rajasthan is a state located in northern India. It is the largest Indian state by area. The capital city of Rajasthan is Jaipur. Jaipur is also called Pink city. The Thar Desert, also known as the Great Indian Desert,  60% of this desert lies in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
