Words to Know

• Shell course- Skyward generated course where class lists are automatically populated.

• Sandbox course- A course created by an individual, ideally as a master copy or opportunity to practice.

• Homepage- The first page students see upon opening a course.

• Module- A folder that organizes files, pages, or assignments.

• Google Cloud Assignment- Previously used external assignment tool that embedded Google files directly into CANVAS. (Less clicks for kids)

• Google Assignments (LTI 1.3)- New Version of Google Assignments that looks more similar to the Google Classroom layout. Options like originality reports will be available.
