It is the MOST important part of the cell. It's just like our brain! It controls everything the cell does. Just like how our brains control our bodies

It is on the outer edges of the cell, so it controls what comes in and goes out! It helps to protect the cell from toxic substances

It's kind of like jello because it hold everything together! This jelly-like substance holds all of the organelles in place so they don't move around.
