prepositions at, in, on and others

​what is a preprosition?

is a word invariable that indicate relationship between place, time, moovment and direction. but we will only focus in place and time preprositions, the others just we will review them above( or as it's said in english)

IN, NO, AT

​These prepositions are the most used and either one have differences in both concepts(time and place).

IN AS PLACE

• ​ in place Can be translated as: en, dentro de. since that it used for indicates countrys or common places: In ee.uu are very fat. In china they eat dogs and bats.

​

• times of the day: in the morning, in the evening. tip: when we talk abuot the night it is used the preposition "at" that it would at night, the article "the" is omitted.

• ​be inside of: as well as things that are inside of something.

​IN, AS TIME

• It can used as:

• for centurys, decades, years, weeks, in "the past and future".

• ​In the 1900s.

• ​in the 1960.

• ​two weeks, in a week.

SOME SYNONYMS OF IN:

• ​Inside.

• Within(g).

• ​Indoors.

  IN THE MIDDLE OF.

AT AS TIME

• We omitted "at" for "the" in most cases.

• ​It is used for:

• ​Specific hours: at seven o' clock/ at 9.

• ​For the night: at night/ at noon.

• ​At new year/ at chrtismas.

• ​For the present and weekend: at present/ at weekend/ at the moment.

• ​For actions as: at the dinner time/ at lunch time.

​AT AS PLACE

• ​For address: at 23 birch tree/ at 478 state street.

• ​For the common and specific places: at home, at school, at supermarket.

• ​For specific "small" places: at the corner of room/ at the subway stop.

• ​beside.

​ON AS TIME

• ​For days: on the monday/ on the sunday.

• ​For specific dates: At October 23th.

• ​For special dates: on Halloween day/ on pascua month/ on my birhday/ on my first communion.

• ​About time: on time/ on the weekend/ on sunday morning.

ON AS PLACES

• For means of transport: on a bus/ on a train.

• ​For closer places: on my room/ on the classroom.

• ​For the electric gadgets: on the radio/ on the phone/ on the tv.

• ​For street principals: on main street/ on victoria road.

• ​For objects upon of: on the table/ on the bed/ on the car.
