PHILOSOPHY
St. Paul School of Aparri (SPSA) treasures its Catholic tradition of humanistic learning basedon the Gospel values. Sharing in the mission of the Catholic Church, to proclaim Christ as the Good News to all, SPSA serves, with conscious preference for the deprived, in the contemporary and future needs of the church, the nation and the world. It is on the basis of these principles and values that SPSA provides its Quality Catholic Paulinian Education in a Christ-centered way. Our goal then, is the total formation of a person who "walks in the truth"(veritas). Thus, veritas encourages this search for knowledge (scientia) which impels us to love (caritas).
18
Our model is the Person of Christ Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We endeavor to assist our students grow in their faith in order that Christ may be known and loved by all.
We promote a Catholic Faith community where parents are the primary educators of their children. The teachers, support staff and maintenance personnel assist the parents in this tremendous responsibility by providing and facilitating an Education in the Roman Catholic Formation.
We strice for academic excellence through a curriculum comparable with that of quality and effective schools and integrate the Catholic Faith in all academic disciplines.
We respond to the Gospel call to community and service in the spirit of Christ by providing opportunities for social transformation through service-oriented outreach programs to the Church and the civic community.
19
PHILOSOPHY develops a sense of humane values and ethics. These personal values provide a better upbringing for them to cope in the later years of their life.
GOALS also help align your focus and promote a sense of self-mastery.
