• Adjectives are descriptive words. They are used to describe a noun (people, place, or things).

• ​Adjectives are used to inform about noun characteristics.

  • ​Example: shape, color, size, etc.

EL GÉNERO

​All Spanish nouns are either masculine or feminine.

Articles in Spanish help to identify the gender of the noun. (there are definite and indefinite articles)

​Ejemplo:

• la casa grande (la = article, casa = noun, grande = adjective)

• el carro azul,

• el chico inteligente

​Articles are either definite or indefinite

• ​Definite:

  • El, la, los, las

• ​Indefinite:

  • ​Un, una, unos, unas
