​Tujuan Pembelajaran:

1. Peserta didik mampu mengenali kalimat Simple Present Tense

2. Peserta didik mampu membuat pola kalimat sederhana dalam bentuk Simple Present Tense

3. Peserta didik mampu mengubah kalimat affirmative menjadi kalimat negative dan introgative dalam bentuk Simple Present Tense

4. Peserta didik dapat mengenali dan menggunakan bentuk waktu dalam Simple Present Tense​

​Pengertian Simple Present Tense

​

​Simple Present Tense adalah salah satu bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk menyatakan fakta, kebenaran umum, kebiasaan dan juga aktivitas sehari-hari

​Pola Kalimat

​1. Positive Sentence

​S+V1(-s/-es) + O

​note:

​Akhiran s/es pada kata kerja, hanya digunakan pada subject He, She, dan It. Dalam menambahkan akhiran s/es terdapat aturannya, cara mengetahui kata apa saja yang menggunakan akhiran s dan es adalah:

• Kata kerja berakhiran huruf Y dan huruf sebelum Y adalah huruf vokal maka kata kerja ditambahkan -S.

• ​Kata kerja berakhiran huruf Y dan huruf sebelum Y adalah huruf konsonan maka kata kerja ditambahkan -IES dan menghilangkan huruf Y nya.

• ​Kata kerja yang berakhiran huruf O,CH, SH, X, dan Z maka ditambahkan -ES pada akhir kata kerja.

2. ​Budi studies so hard for national examination

3. ​She goes to the market every 7 p.m

4. ​He watches TV after working

5. ​Lisa buzzes me with her voice

6. ​You go to school by bus

7. ​They play football every Sunday afternoon

8. ​We eat noodles every morning

9. ​I work in the office every morning

10. ​You and I study English together

​2. Negative Sentence

​S + do/ does + not + V1 + O

​note:

​Untuk subject ketiga tunggal (he, she, it) menggunakan auxillary verb does sedangkan untuk subject (I, you, they, we) menggunakan do:

• ​Do berpasangan dengan I, you, we, they.

• ​Does berpasangan dengan He, She, it.
