What is an engineer?
An engineer is someone who designs solutions to meet a want or need.
A solution is technology to meet a want or need. Technology is human-made solutions.

Solutions are technology.
All solutions meet a want or need.
Anything humans created is technology.
Not all technology has to be electronic or complicated. Paper towels, shoes, computers, and TVs are all examples of technology.

Solutions have criteria and constraints.
Criteria are what you want to solution to look like/have.
For example, the criteria for a mask may be that you want it to look cool and be easy to breath in.
Different problems have different limits.
Constraints are limits to possible solutions. For example, a mask can only be made out of a certain material or only cost less than $3.
