​Adverbs of Place 地点副词

​

Adverbs of place tell us where something happens. (地点副词告诉我们某事发生的地方)

We usually place the adverb of place after the main verb. (我们通常将地点副词放在动词之后)

​

1. ​Mei Yi is standing outside.

2. ​My grandfather is sleeping upstairs.

​

​We may also place the adverb of place after the direct object. (我们也可以将地点副词放在宾语之后)

​

1. ​Jamil looked for his wallet everywhere.

2. ​He is building a house nearby.
