​When do we use Adverbs of Frequency?

​We use these to show how often we do things or how often things happen.

• ​We usually put an adverb of frequency after the verb be.

• ​We usually put an adverb of frequency before most other verbs.

​Adverbs of Frequency

​1. always - at all times

​2. usually - a lot

​3. often - many times

​4. sometimes - occasionally, rather than all of the time

​5. hardly ever - not often

​6. never - not at all
