4.3.1 Menangkap makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks khusus dalam bentuk caption terkait gambar/foto/ tabel/grafik/ bagan

4.3.2 Menyusun teks khusus dalam bentuk teks caption terkait gambar/foto/ tabel/grafik/bagan, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan, secara benar dan sesuai kontek.

Caption meaning

• ​A title, short explanation, or description accompanying an illustration or a photograph.

• ​A title or heading, as of a document or article.

• ​​the words printed underneath a picture or cartoon which explain what it is about.

​Caption Text Definition

• ​Caption text is a short text consist of additional information which available in the pictures/photos. Usually it’s located below the picture itself.

• ​Caption text used to give further information related to a picture or simply just to decorate it to look better.

​How to create a good caption text?

•Don’t use an articles to begin writing the caption

•Use present tense

•Give detail information about the picture

•Caption is used to complete the picture not to replace it

•Don’t begin with name

•If there are more than one person in the picture you can use the word “from the left “not “from the left to right“

•Don’t write the words like above” and “pictured here“

•Write just the important person in the picture
