Quando utilizamos o Simple Past?
* Para falar de coisas que iniciaram e terminaram no passado;
* Para falar de coisas que costumavam ser verdade, mas não são mais;
* Para falar de coisas que aconteceram no passado.
Há verbos REGULARES e IRREGULARES.
Auxiliar: DID
Para perguntar: DID na frente do verbo e o verbo volta ao normal.
Ex.: I went to the mall yesterday / Did I go to the mall yesterday?
3
E para negar?
* Utilizamos a forma negativa do auxiliar, podendo ser DIDN'T ou DID NOT. E, mais uma vez, o verbo volta ao normal.
Ex.: I went to the mall yesterday / I didn't go to the mall yesterday.
Ou seja, SEMPRE que o auxiliar DID aparecer, o verbo vai voltar ao normal.
