Second Conditional

2
O que é e quando utilizar o Second Conditional?
* É o segundo modo condicional das chamadas IF CLAUSES.
* Utilizado para expressar uma hipótese, ou seja, algo com pequenas chances de acontecer.
Por exemplo: If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.
O Second Conditional possui duas orações: a IF clause e a oração principal.
Fórmula: IF + SIMPLE PAST + MODAL VERB
3
Observação:
O verbo TO BE sofre uma variação na Second Conditional.
No lugar de usar a forma gramatical correta WAS para o pronome I (I was), é utilizada a forma WERE.
Por exemplo: If I were a boy, I would listen more.
If I were rich, I would buy a fancy car.
If I were you, I wouldn't do that.

Isso significa que...
O Simple Past será utilizado e, com ele, as regras de verbos regulares e a lista de irregulares.
Exemplos:
If he didn't call me, I wouldn't have come back with him.
