What is comparison "as...as" ?
We use "as...as" when 2 things/people compared are equal.
Ex: Harry is as good as Jack.
A camel is as strong as a yak.

Positive form (+)
S + V + as + Adj/Adv + as + Noun/Pronoun
Ex: She is as tall as her sister.
My car is as new as your car.
Harry sings as beautifully as a singer.
My hands were as cold as ice.

What is the comparative?
We use comparative adjectives when we compare two people or two things. (not 3 or 10 or 10000...)
We usually use "than" after the comparative adjecives.
Ex: She is taller than her sister.
Paul ran faster than Tilly.

After than we can use 2 ways for verbs
Nam is taller than me.
Nam is taller than I am.
Jill runs faster than Jolie.
Jill runs faster than Jolie does.
Suzie jumped higher than Tom.
Suzie jumped higher than Tom did.

SHORT ADJECTIVES (1 syllable)
Consonant-Vowel-Consonant
We will double the consonant and add er after the adjective.
Ex: hot - hotter
big - bigger
thin - thinner
fat - fatter

Ending with Y
We will change y into i and add er after the adjective.
Ex:
happy - happier
noisy - noisier

We will add r after the adjective.
Ex:
