This element of music refers to the softness and loudness of the music. This can be gradual {cresendo/decresendo} or sudden (abrupt)

Harmony

​The vertical arrangement of sounds in a musical piece. it is the simultaneous sounding of two or more notes.

Texture

​This is all about the thickness of the sound. it can be classified as monophonic, polyphonic, and homophonic.

Timber

​The quality of sound heard in a musical composition.
