​Introduction

In a scientific research, acquiring data can be possible through the use of survey forms. Survey forms contain data needed to answer our hypothesis. The data gathered from the survey form will allow us to analyze different variables of an experiment. Eventually, you will formulate the conclusion.

Solving fraction is a challenging task for most students. It can be confusing and at the same time, frustrating. But fraction is an important lesson a student should master because it takes an important part in our daily lives. Fractions can be used  in baking, in cooking, and in sharing. It is also relevant in how you budget your time and money.

To help us identify the level of proficiency of the grade 5 students in terms of performing the basic operations of fractions, we made a survey form for you to answer.

​

The aim of this study is to measure the level of understanding and the skill of Grade 5 students of St. Mary's School in adding and subtracting fractions.

​The Hypothesis of the Study

​If the grade 5 students are given 3 more chances to answer a quiz about adding and subtracting fraction, then it will improve their score.
