​A conjunction is...

​A word that helps us link ideas or sentences. We also call them "Linking words" or "connectors".

​In this lesson we will learn these:

• And: connects a list of items. "I like football, tennis and hockey."

• ​But: contrasts information. "Gaby failed Physics, but she passed Ethics."

• ​So: indicates result or consequence. "I was tired so I went to sleep."

• ​Or: useful when we have options. "Take it or leave it. You decide."

• ​Because: gives reasons or justifications. "The teacher was angry because very few students sent their activities."
