PS2.A: Forces and Motion. Pushes and pulls can have different strengths and directions.(K-PS2-1),(K-PS2-2). Pushing or pulling on an object can change the speed or direction of its motion and can start or stop it.(K-PS2-1),(K-PS2-2)

Standard:

What does it mean?

Students should be able to understand the difference between push and pull. They should be able to understand that the motion of the object acting on the force is affected by the strength of pushing or pulling. Lastly, students should be able to understand that when a force is applied to an object, the object will start(stop) moving, change speed, or to change direction (For example, When we use more force to push on the swing, the swing moves more higher).
